Introducing Zoo Brew 2024 at the Great Plains Zoo!

We’re thrilled to unveil Zoo Brew 2024 in collaboration with the Great Plains Zoo! For the first time ever, you can enjoy this special beer on tap within the Zoo. This year's edition is light, easy-drinking, and supports the magnificent red wolf. Visit the Zoo, enjoy a refreshing brew, and explore the incredible exhibits!

The Cause

This marks the 8th edition of Zoo Brew! Each year, we highlight a different animal for the artwork and conservation efforts. This year, we’ve chosen the Red Wolf, one of the world’s most endangered canids. National Geographic lists the Red Wolf as critically endangered with a decreasing population trend. This unique species of wolf is found only in the United States, primarily in North Carolina, thanks to ongoing conservation efforts.

Known for their distinct howl, which is lower-pitched and longer-lasting than a coyote’s, Red Wolves also communicate through a series of barks, growls, and yaps. Before heading to the Red Wolf exhibit, be sure to grab your Zoo Brew and learn more about these incredible animals.

The Beer

This year's brew comes with an exciting twist. For the first time, Zoo Brew is exclusively available on tap within the Zoo. This decision got our wheels spinning at Fernson. We crafted a light, refreshing beer perfect for enjoying outdoors at the Zoo! Our top priority was to make a beer that's both delicious and refreshing, ensuring you'll want to come back for more.

As an added bonus, we’re also offering our beloved Lion’s Paw Lager. It’s a familiar favorite, making a timely return to celebrate the arrival of the lions at the Great Plains Zoo!
